Our Committee Members
Tom Polich
President
Tom currently serves as the Vice President of the WA Gerbera Society Inc. and brings extensive experience as a gerbera grower in the Swan Valley and Midland regions.
His knowledge of cultivation and dedication to the Society contribute greatly to the success of our shows and member activities.

Kim Richardson
Vice President & Secretary
Kim currently serves as the Secretary of the WA Gerbera Society Inc.
An experienced and knowledgeable member, she plays a vital role in supporting the Society’s operations and assisting members, ensuring the smooth running of events and administrative activities.

Kevin Abbott
Treasurer
Kevin currently serves as the Treasurer of the WA Gerbera Society Inc.
Since joining in April 2021, he has been expanding his knowledge of gerbera cultivation and is an enthusiastic contributor to the Society’s activities, supporting both members and events.

Our Growers
The larger selections of classic gerberas are typically available at our Annual Championship Show, usually held in the second week of April at the South Perth Community Centre, as well as at the WA Horticultural Council Garden Fair, generally held in early October.
In addition, several of our experienced growers, who maintain a broad range of gerberas, are willing to supply plants to the public outside of these events. Interested buyers can contact these members directly by phone to arrange viewings and purchases.
Stuart Tindale
Waterford & Manning
Stuart is a long-standing member of the WA Gerbera Society Inc., with over 30 years of involvement. An experienced grower, his passion lies in pollination and breeding, where he focuses on developing and refining new gerbera varieties. His expertise and dedication continue to contribute greatly to the advancement of the Society’s growing practices.

Henry Shields
Banjup
Henry is a Life Member of the WA Gerbera Society Inc., with over 55 years of experience in growing gerberas.
Highly respected within the Society, he is always generous in sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise with fellow members.

Bedford
Carmen joined the WA Gerbera Society Inc. in 2023 experienced grower with a keen interest in developing new varieties of Gerberas from seed.
